The Dallas PULSE made history Thursday night at Comerica Center, earning the first win in franchise history with a 3–1 victory over the San Diego Mojo in their inaugural Major League Volleyball season.
Playing in front of a lively home crowd in Frisco, Dallas delivered a composed and confident performance, setting the tone early and responding effectively whenever San Diego threatened to swing momentum. The PULSE controlled play in key stretches of the match, using balanced offense and disciplined defense to claim the landmark victory.
After splitting the opening sets, Dallas found its rhythm in the latter stages, tightening up defensively and capitalizing on scoring opportunities to close out the match. The Mojo showed resilience throughout, but the PULSE proved steadier in the decisive moments, pulling away to secure the four-set win.
The victory marked a significant milestone for the expansion franchise, signaling a promising start to its first season in Major League Volleyball. For Dallas, Thursday’s result was more than just a win in the standings — it was a foundational moment for a new team establishing its identity in front of its home supporters.
Dallas will look to build on the momentum from its historic first win as the season continues, while San Diego heads back to regroup after a competitive road test in Frisco.
