PBR World Finals 2026 – Cowtown Coliseum

Sage Steele Kimzey delivered the defining moment of Friday night at Cowtown Coliseum, launching the 2026 PBR World Finals with a statement ride that shook up the leaderboard. The seven-time PRCA world champion took Short Fire deep for a 90.50-point score, claiming the Round 1 win and slicing into John Crimber’s season-long lead in the world standings.

Only eight riders managed qualified rides in a round dominated by rank bulls. Crimber, Brady Fielder, Leandro Zampollo, and Alex Cerqueira all hit the dirt early, opening the door for Kimzey to tighten the gold buckle race right out of the gate.

Australia’s Callum Miller nearly held the round lead with a gritty 90.25-point ride on Big Dawg, while 2022 World Champion Daylon Swearingen kept his Finals momentum rolling with an 89.85-point re-ride aboard Let’s Roll, good for third on the night.

Cowtown’s energy was electric — loud, rowdy, and every bit the pressure cooker the Finals are known for. With the top contenders stumbling and Kimzey striking first, the weekend is already shaping up to be a thriller.

The PBR World Finals continue this weekend at Dickies Arena, and fans can stay tuned to RenegadeRadio.net for more coverage from Keith and Robbie soon.  In the mean time, check out their incredible photos below.
