Check out this blurb Iwannabe, a Renegade street team member and regular listener, wrote about an Orlando, Florida pop/alternative/rock band called Stockholm!
To describe in mere words what Stockholm brings to the music scene is next to impossible; you might as well be asking what color the wind is. Breaking into the music scene in 2010 with the release of their first EP Don't Stop Now and the accompanying music video for the title track, this quintet has more than made their mark on everyone who has given them a chance.
With a band roster including Chris Arter (lead vocals/keyboards), Jeremiah Lloyd (lead guitar), Eddie Hickle (drums), Brad Barrett (bass), and Oli Thomas (rhythm guitar), the end product is a lead singer putting his very soul into his lyrics and singing with such vibrant emotions you feel them; a lead guitarist who can get you up and moving in a single harmonies strum and break your heart the next moment; a drummer who can lay the beat down so solidly you’ll never question the talent of this boy again; a phat bass line; and a rhythm guitarist who’s skill is beyond comparison.
In a little over two years of existence, Stockhom has received critical acclaim and was named one of the "Top 10 Bands to Watch" from IndieMusicCafe.com. With the release of their first studio album Hush Hush coming in April 2011, I can only see these guys going up from here.
