The Playground, Wednesdays from 7-10pm cst – Show Report for July 14, 2010
Euro-Rock Radio returned on Wednesday, but this time it was on crack. That’s right kids Kelly took all the Euro bands you know and love and mixed them with everything else to create musical therapy Playground style. Oh, she threw in requests too. The crack playlist for that evening included a little Tantric, Breaking Benjamin, Essentia, Motorhead, Silentium, Stratovarius, The Veronicas, Widescreen Mode, Our Lady Peace, Poets of the Fall, Nightwish, Private Line, Pop Evil, Nelo, Sunrise Avenue, Shamrain, and much more.
The Playground will return this Wednesday, July 28, 2010 for another episode of ERR on crack starting at 7pm cst right here on RenegadeRadio.net. Tune in to hear/see what Kelly will play next!
The Icehouse, Thursdays from 7-10pm cst – Show report for Thursday, July 15, 2010
Iceberg returned to take over the stream and play whatever he felt like playing. The evening’s playlist included a bit of Kiss, some Queen, Meatloaf, Santana, Men at Work, Billy Squire, Molly Hatchet, Venture, a double shot of Black Sunshine, Ember, The Letter Black, Messer, Monty Are I, Blue Edmonson, Deaf Leopard, Smashing Pumpkins, and much more. While berg played tunes, Dann told very interesting stories in the chat room. When the story telling was over, berg slowed things down with his ever famous After 9. The tunes for the last portion of the show included ones from Chicago, Bryan Adams, The Bee Gees, Staind, Bon Jovi, Stereo Fallout, Tesla, and much more.
Icehouse Show Report for Thursday, July 22, 2010
Berg returned for another free for all with a mix of 70s, 80s, and whatever else he felt like playing and the listeners wanted to hear. If you were in the chat room 30 minutes early that evening, you probably got to hear Dann tell a story that involved his ex-wife, his car, and light bulbs. Anyway, back to the playlist for the evening. Some of the artists you heard that evening included We Are the Fallen, Rob Thomas, Poets of the Fall, Shinedown, Stereoside, Papa Roach, Dirty Little Mouth, Kiss, Dead by Sunrise, Faktion, Tonic, Dream Theater, more Black Sunshine, Honey Moon Suite, Dog Fight, Saigon Kick, and many more.
This week we believe that berg will be out of town until Friday so there will be no Icehouse on Thursday, July 29, 2010. If that changes, we will let you know. The show will return to its normal schedule starting on Thursday, August 5, 2010. See you in the chat room!
Grave Disorder, Fridays starting at 7pm cst – Show Report for Friday, July 16, 2010
The Stairwell Showcase invaded Grave Disorder once again to feature the latest tunes from SouthFM, Rescue Signals, Shorelines End, Paco Estrada and One Love, and Alpha Rev. Not only did the listeners receive the latest information on all of the featured bands, they also got to listen to their latest tunes. The playlist for the Stairwell that evening is listed below.

In addition to the Stairwell features, Sean decided to add tunes from Los Lonely Boys into the mix that were beyond the bands hit single “Heaven” such as “Crazy Dream”, the bands cover of Tony Joe White’s “Polk Salad Annie”, “Superman”, and many others.
The rest of the playlist for that evening included tunes from Red Sun Rising, Spinning Chain, The Becoming, Emilie Autumn, Apocalyptica, Rammstein, Lacuna Coil, Evolve, more Los Lonely Boys, Starseed, Rasputina, more SouthFM, The Letter Black, Madam Adam, New Device, The Firm, Seasons After, the occasional obscure tune, and much more.
In the midst of all of this musical goodness and obscure tunes, there was talk in the chat room about how Paco should write a parody of Kings of Leon’s hit song “Sex on Fire”. The proposed parody will be about eating Indian food and tentatively entitled “Mouth on Fire”.
Special thanks to Spencer Estep and Doug McGrath (former members of SouthFM) for tuning in and joining us in the chat room and to Paco Estrada for reposting the information about the show on his Facebook page.
Grave Disorder Show Report for Friday, July 23, 2010
Tropical Vampirates? The Return of Six Feet Under and the Horror-Sleaze-Glam Rock Fest? Yeah, this should give you really good clues as to the playlist for that evening. Just in case you have any doubts, check out Grave Disorder’s show blog.
What will Sean do next?!?!? Tune in this Friday, July 30, 2010 and find out!
That concludes this edition of the Renegade show news. The next show newsreel will probably not be posted until sometime next week. The long awaited band newsreel will be posted some time on Monday. After the band newsreel has been posted, Jemini will be taking 2-3 days off this week to continue looking for a day job and addressing tasks on her masters thesis. Have a great week and rock on!
