Here is another update on all of your favorite Renegade shows – enjoy! :D

Reckless Radio and The Cat’s Lair were in full blast on Sunday here on RenegadeRadio.net.  In the afternoon, the Reckless Renegaders talked it up and every now and then played some great tunes.  Syria then returned that evening for another genre ride on The Cat’s Lair.  Some of the bands Syria played included some Nickelback, Lacuna Coil, Dropping Daylight, Faktion, a double shot of Right on Red, Godsmack, Buckcherry, Candlebox, and Evanescence.  This was followed by a block of hip hop and rap tunes and then a bit of an 80s music segment that included tunes from The Bangels, Tiffany, Jeff Heley Band, Mr. Mister, and a little Whiteshake.  Then it was back to a bit of rock ballads with a little Metallica, Bon Jovi, Areosmith, Guns N Roses, Deaf Leopard and much more.  Syria then closed out the show with a cover of “Jessie’s Girl”, a Debbie Gibson song, Pink, and a little more Faktion.

This Sunday, the Fourth of July, Reckless Radio and The Cat’s Lair will be combined into one show.  That’s right you are going to get the entire Reckless crew from 2pm cst until whenever they decide to get off the air!  Not only is this a special show due to the holiday, this will also be Karis’s last show for the summer.  Rumor has it Iceberg might even join in on the fun!!  Even if you have plans for the 4th of July weekend, make sure you are in a place that has internet so you can tune in for this show and bid Karis a happy summer vacation.

After this 4th of July talk show spectacular, you also want to make sure that you tune in for Reckless Radio on Sunday, July 11th as this will be the last Reckless show for the summer.  As you may remember from previous Reckless episodes and/or reading the show reports in this news reel, Syria recently got married and will be in the process of moving to a new location with her new husband for much of the summer.  The Cat’s Lair will be returning to the air sooner than Reckless Radio. As soon as we have the details on when both shows will return after the break, we will post it right here in this news reel.

Big Dog took over the stream Monday evening as he has been doing for years with The Pound.  Everyone’s world was rocked as Dog spun some tunes from Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Sammy Hagar, The Vettes, Linkin Park, 30 Seconds to Mars, Monkeyshyne, Papa Roach, Metallica, Ember, Rivet Head, Ozzy, Drowning Pool, Finger Eleven, and many, many other great tunes.  Tune in next Monday, July 5th to see what he will play next.

Kelly returned to the stream this week with a combined Euro-Rock Radio/Playground show on Wednesday evening.  Some of the tunes Kelly blasted on the stream included Icon and Black Roses, Jesus on Extasy, Katatonia, Entwine, Epica, Dommin, Defueled, Cimema Bizarre, Coldplay, Downfall, Charon, Never Shout Never, 30 Seconds to Mars, Unbreakable, and many more!  For a complete playlist, go check out Euro-Rock Radio’s Twitter Page.  While you are at it, go check out Euro-Rock Radio’s official website for all things Euro.  Both shows will return to their regular time next week (Euro-Rock Radio Tuesdays from 7-10pm cst; The Playground Wednesdays from 7-10pm cst) so tune in right here on RenegadeRadio.net!

Berg fired up the Icehouse once again this week to a packed stream and chat room.  The evening began with a little Gary Hoey, Our Lady Peace, Linkin Park, Bleu Edmondson, HIM, Morian, All Time Low, new Faktion, a triple shot of Black Sunshine, some Ozzy, Guns N Roses, Def Leopard, Ghost of Gloria, We are the Fallen, Copper, and many more great tunes.  Then berg slowed things down for his ever famous after 9.  A few of the slow tunes played for the last hour of the show included The Opus Flux with “This Time”, Piker – “Forgiven”, Johnny Cash – “Hurt”, Ghost of Gloria – “Fight”, Poets of the Fall – “Fragile” and “Given and Denied”, Sarah McLachlan – “Love Come” (Piano version) and many more.  For a complete list of tunes, go check out berg’s Twitter page.

While on the subject of ice, berg featured a new tune from Faktion on Ice Picks this week.  Ice Picks can be heard every Thursday during the Jeff Duran Show at around 8pm cst on 100.1 The Edge.  For more information about this show as well as a list of previous Ice Picks, check out the “Podcasts and Interviews” page under “Renegade Shows” right here on RenegadeRadio.net.

Grave Disorder should be returning tonight starting at 7pm cst right here on RenegadeRadio.net depending upon when he will be getting his computer back from the store.  What will he be doing and playing? Your guess is as good as ours but we do know that it will be some great tunes to kick off your 4th of July weekend.  For the month of July, Sean has some great shows lined up for you that include some very special guests for Friday, July 9th and another Stairwell Showcase on July 16th.

In other Renegade news, make sure you check out all of the other reading material we have on the main page.  Keep the comments on the articles coming!  We love to hear from you!

Speaking of the site, we have noticed a big increase in site usage.  Not only are people signing up for accounts, but they are returning to Renegade and using them on a regular basis!  We are thrilled to have so much activity on the site as well as on the stream!  Keep it up!

The next band news reel will be posted sometime next week after the 4th of July holiday. It will have somewhat of a summer festival theme to it so stay tuned!

That concludes the show news reel for now.  More news on all things Renegade will be posted sometime next week.  In the mean time, have a wonderful 4th of July weekend and ROCK ON!
