Congratulations to Ember for winning Sophie’s Challenge on Sophie 103.7, a major radio station out of San Diego, California!! They are now the newest edition to Sophie’s “Hall of Champions”! Thank you to everyone that voted! In other Ember news, their single “The Deep End” is featured on an inspirational video for Jill Kelly’s press campaign and new book. Jill Kelly is the wife of Buffalo Bill’s Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly as well as a motivational speaker and an author. To view the video, go to this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWzv7qhhuQc. As indicated by the name of the group page, the goal is to give this video 1 million views.
Ember has also been having problems with their trailer lately. Many things have been breaking on it only to have them repair it and then break again. As a result, the boys have had to cancel shows recently. What it all comes down to is the guys need a new trailer. In order to get a new trailer, they will need to raise $3,500. If you are interested in donating money to the new trailer fund, an event page has been started entitled "Keep Ember on the Road". Conduct a search for "Keep Ember on the Road" here on Facebook and read about how you can help. Any amount of money is welcome. If you can't give any money, at least help spread the word to your friends, family, and mutual acquaintances about the fund raiser. If you want to see Ember come to your home town again, donate to this fund raiser. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this fund raiser thus far. Again, if you can't give any money, at least invite people to the event page and spread the word!
