Reckless Radio Show Report by Helixon
The Renegaders were at it again this past Sunday wreaking uncensored havoc on all listening. After some classic Queen and a highlight of the Futhamukas (featured on the Cats Lair) Syria reported on an insane break dancing tragedy. To all those who break dance with a diamond belt buckle be duly warned that you could get slapped with a felony charge for property damage. That, sadly, is exactly what happened to a teenager in upstate New York who caused $3,000 worth of damage to a hardwood floor with his diamond belt buckle. Ouch! Following up such a ridiculous new story, Karis rightly blasted the numerous mistresses of Tiger Woods who feel they deserve sincere apologies from the golfer. Those girls need to realize they were simply the “other woman.” Well, one of a dozen other women I guess is more accurate. Sadly, the news originating out of Arizona just keeps getting worse. Two men were shot at when they drove a stolen car through a security gate at the Luke Air Force Base. One of the men was killed and the other wounded. Finally, congratulations to Madeline Dupont. Even though the Olympics are over, Dupont claimed the title of Wick’s Dirty Girl of the Week for a second consecutive week.
The Renegaders might be starting a new segment on the show! After an unfortunate challenge and humiliating reception on the show, the Small Time Ruffians have inspired a special spotlight segment. Local bands might be able to send in tracks for the Renegaders to play. Expect blunt reviews from all DJ’s and those in the chat room though! Tune in for more information on this exciting opportunity to promote your band. Before signing off the Renegaders gave a shot out to several outstanding local bands including The Destro,Trebuchet, Siren City, and Faktion.
REMEMBER: March 14th the Renegaders will be getting together for a party at Big Dogs. Come out and join the craziness that will surely ensue!

The Cat's Lair
Last week on The Cat's Lair, Syria started out with a little rock segment (Rev Theory and many others), a bit of 80s (Journey, B52s, Reallife, Tears for Fears, The Gogos and others), and then featured the week's "Sword of Omen", Siren City. The band members even called in during a rehearsal session and introduced themselves to the listeners, alluded to crazy stories involving lap dances, and made a few plugs about their new album coming out soon and a big show they have at a place called Hailey's in Denton, Texas on April 3rd. After the live phone interview, Syria played a bit more rock (Skillet, Within Temptation, Hinder, Metallica, Kidney Thieves, and much more)and then dedicated a Black Tie Vendetta song to Iceberg.
