Music fans have spoken and the winner of Round 4 of Dallas vs LA is … FEEL NEVER REAL! Congratulations guys! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT VOTED! Thanks to you, we are now 4 and 0!
Texas music fans it is time to make your voices heard once again by voting in Round 5. For round 5 of Dallas vs LA, we have Escaping Gravity with the song “Of Angels and Men” representing Dallas and Hollywood Undead with the song “The Black Dahlia (remix)” representing LA. LA is out for blood yet again. They are tired of losing and are now going to throw as many hurtles in front of us as they can. Hollywood Undead is a big local LA band with a lot of support behind them. However, Texas has proven in the last four rounds that we have the better fans and we can prove it again for Round 5!
Voting for Round 5 will be E-Request just like it was for Round 4. To vote, go to www.edge100.com and find the link called “ON DEMAND” in the “Quick Links” navigation bar on the left side of 100.1 The Edge’s webpage. You will be taken to a page entitled “E-Requests”. Enter your name, age, gender, Artist Name (Escaping Gravity) and the Song Name (“Of Angels and Men”). The cool thing about the new voting system is that you will be able to see who voted for who by name once the round is over!
If you want to be a little more personal with your vote, you can cast your vote by phone by calling 100.1 The Edge’s request line at 661-947-6950 and gushing about your favorite band on the air!
The voting period begins NOW and will run until around Wednesday, March 3, 2010. We say around Wednesday because with Round 3, the voting somehow got extended into Thursday. If you missed the first segment that aired Friday evening, don’t worry, 100.1 The Edge will re-air the segment throughout the voting period (Friday, Feb. 26th – Wednesday, March 3rd) during The Duran Show (Monday-Friday 2-7pm Pacific; Sunday NOON-5:00pm Pacific).
